The Distinguished Panel Members will be:

*Bruce Harris, Esq., School Board Attorney – Mr. Harris will discuss School Board Policies and penalties for cheating and plagiarism.

*Jamie Capps, West Boca High School Guidance Counselor – Ms. Capps will discuss how cheating and plagiarism is treated and dealt with at the high school level and the impact it will have on the student’s current and future academic career.

*Dr. Craig Mertler, Dean of Ross College of Education (Lynn University) – Dr. Mertler will discuss the impact cheating and plagiarism has for a college/university applicant and how an incident of cheating and plagiarism is dealt with and treated at the college/university level.

*Beverly Pohl, Esq, Partner Broad and Cassel – Ms. Pohl will discuss the legal ramifications of cheating and plagiarism and how this behavior could lead to more severe behavior including criminal misconduct.

*Barton Charlip, Student Den (Boca Raton) – Mr. Charlip is a professional academic tutor who will discuss best efforts for academic success without the need to cheat. He will provide no nonsense talk of how cheating could ruin a student’s life.

Attention singers, dancers, musicians, and other talented students……….

The annual talent show is back!
Sign up for an audition by bringing $5.00 to the Chorus Room on 2/15, 16, 21, 22, and 23, from 3:45 – 4:15.
Auditions will take place on March 5, 6, 7 and 9. Successful contestants will be invited to perform on the stage during the Talent Show later in the school year. GREAT prizes will awarded at the end of the final show to the winner, the first and second place runner-ups.
